Meal prep is going to be your best plan for sustaining/losing weight. I know. It may seem like a drag at first, but the benefits are substantial!
Would you rather:
- Come home from a long day and have to cook something, or worse — order fast food?
- Have something easy to reheat and be fed in 10 minutes or less?
You don’t have to be an amazing cook to get the job done. By simply adding some seasoning and salt to any protein, you can cook it up and add it to any vegetable or healthy carbohydrate:
Here’s my go-to:
Chicken breast, seasoned with salt and Italian seasoning. I cut it up into smaller “nuggets” and cook on med-high, 5-7 min on each side. BOOM! Protein is ready for the week!
For carbs/veggies, I can cook them the day of because they take way less time to cook. But I often have baked sweet potatoes ready in the fridge for an easy 1-minute microwave food!
