Try this next time you get MAJOR HANGRY!! 

  1. Stop and be aware of what’s really going on. Are you actually going to die of hunger? Probably not. There is an animal instinct that can take over and make you feel like you must hunt for dear life or you won’t survive the winter. You feel like you might need to apologize to people after you eat and feel more like yourself. 
  2. Remind yourself that this is an irrational feeling. 
  3. Look for ways to show love/care for others; practice laying yourself aside to meet the needs of others. 
  4. Trust that food is actually on the way and you don’t need to freak out.
