Breakfast — This is the first meal you have of the day (“duh!”) and is a breaking of a “fast.” So when you say you don’t eat breakfast, that is not actually true.
Five keys tips for breakfast:
- Balance your breakfast with protein, healthy grains, and fat.
- Keep the sweet stuff to a minimum.
- Go BIG (with the good stuff). Don’t be afraid to fuel your body.
- Try to get fiber into your breakfast (berries, avocados, apples).
- Eat this, not that … think eggs, oatmeal, avocado toast
